Hwarang's Korean name is made up of two words: 화랑 (read "Hwarang") and 품 (read "poom", meaning item or goods/product), so the compound means "Hwarang's product". At the same time, the word hwarangpoom sounds like the Korean word hwajangpoom #화장품, which means cosmetics.
